Trying to Do Right

We often do things that we shouldn’t do, and I am no exception.  I think about things that I know are not good to think about. I do things that I know are not good for me. Why is that?  Why do we do things even though we know nothing good can come of it?  Is it just human nature or the pride of Man and Woman?  Or is it a challenge to  a Higher Power?  Are we saying, “Look at me,  I can make as many dumb decisions as I want and there’s nothing you can do about it! ”  And after we screw everything up, who don’t we turn to get ourselves out of the mess  that we often find ourselves in?

This is something humans have wrestled with through the ages. Even the Apostle Paul struggled with trying to do right. He said, “I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.” (Romans 7;15) Truer words were never spoken!

About Da Life She Lives

The publishing world doesn't know it yet but I am a writer. Reading and writing are extensions of who I am and have always been. Writing is and will always be about self-expression to me, and through this blog I hope to blaze new frontiers in my craft.
